Snoop Dogg’s permission to enter the UK is being challenged by the European country. A court ruling had allowed Snoop Dogg to enter the UK.
The famous hip hop artist whose real name is Cordozar Calvin Broadus Jr ran into trouble in 2006, while he was in London's Heathrow Airport. Police officers put him under arrest for allegedly being involved in a brawl with his crew.
The arrest led to Snoop Dogg’s ban to enter the United Kingdom. However, the rapper, singer, record producer, and actor appealed the ban in January and managed to convince the court to allow him to enter the UK.
Because of the ban, last year, a concert in which Snoop Dog was going to rap alongside P Diddy in front of more than 65,000 fans was canceled. The two rappers planned to do a tour of Britain, but they had to cancel it.
In 2006, Snoop Dogg was put under arrest along with five other after an incident Heathrow Airport. Seven police officers were injured in the scuffle.
UK isn’t the only country that wouldn’t allow Snoop Dogg access on its territory. Last year, Australia refused to give him visa because of his criminal record.
In 2007, Snoop was sentenced to five years' probation and 800 hours of community service for gun and drug charges.
And in 1990, the rapper was also convicted of cocaine possession.
